Mohsaiduzzaman Saeed : As part of keeping the people aware of the epidemic of Corona virus, which has spread to the rest of the world, the 10 infantry divisions of the Bangladesh Army under the direction of the Hon’ble Prime Minister have been mobilized under the direction of Hon’ble Prime Minister.
Keeping in view their overall activities have continued.
The 10th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army has been conducting various public service activities including creating awareness among the people about corona, distributing relief at its own expense, providing medical assistance, providing maternity services to pregnant mothers, free market, spraying disinfectants.
Following this, under the overall guidance of GOC 10 Infantry Division, the army personnel of Ramu Cantonment have delivered relief to 250 unemployed families in remote areas of Lohagarh and Satkania upazilas of Chittagong district.
In the service of humanity, the members of the army have carried the daily necessities on their shoulders, ignoring the unfavorable weather, and delivered them to the doorsteps of the needy, uprooted and helpless people.
This humane initiative of the army has been able to put a smile on the faces of helpless people. Locals applauded the army’s relief efforts. The helpless people of the area expressed their gratitude and prayers to the army.
According to army sources, such public welfare activities will continue in the future.
